Linn Obrestad is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker whose work moves between experimental film, visual art, and poetic documentary. With a background in fine arts, science, and media studies, her practice explores the intersections of science, language, and perception, often drawing on scientific concepts as metaphors for personal and collective experience.

Education: Bachelor of Fine Arts from College of Fine Arts, Sydney, Australia, Master´s degree in Art and Design from the University of South- Eastern Norway. Bachelor in Biotechnology, and Bachelor in Social Anthropology from University of Oslo, Norway.

I make documentaries, art, and everything in between. I love complexity and dislike the obvious, the simple, and the inobscure. Some days I prefer fragments and other days I favour entirety. I aim for comprehension, but will settle for interpretation.
